Stunning quality build model of MV Carnarvon Castle. Part of the union castle line fleet, it is a large model ship, 5ft long and fitted with motors.
A stunning static model.
The original ship was built in 1926, commissioned during the war as a troop ship. It was famous for having been repaired with steel panels from the ill fated German Battleship the Admiral Graf Spee, after being badly damaged by enemy fire. It was scrapped in 1963.
This is an excellent high quality model, very nicely built from scratch, not a kit, and fitted with motors.
It could be used as a radio controlled model, or as it's been unused for a long while just displayed as a very impressive static model.
Collection only due to its size and delicate construction, or I may be able to deliver but ask first.
